CCNAX 2.0 and CCNP

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is a star in your IP career. The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certificate and the CCNP are the Cisco Certified Network Professional designation. CCNA and CCNP certification is aimed at taking your routing and switching career to the next level.

CCNA/CCNAX 2.0

This Cisco certification course is centered on the basic computer literacy of PC operation, navigational skills, and IP address knowledge. It also teaches individuals how to install, configure, operate, and verify a basic IPv4 and IPv6 network. Additionally, included on the syllabus is the following:

1. How to configure a LAN switch

2. How to configure an IP route

3. Identifying basic security threats

4. Connecting to a WAN

5. Understanding redundant topologies (network geometry – understanding the actual

6. geometric layout of workstations)

7. Troubleshooting network issues

8. Configuring EIGRP ((Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) and OSPF (Open

9. Shortest Path First) in both IPv4 and IPv6

10. Understanding wide area network technologies

11.Understanding device management

12. Cisco Licensing

CCNA/CCNAX 2.0 incorporates a Cisco learning lab classroom which introduces individuals to more troubleshooting issues. CCNAX is an accelerated course that merges ICND1 and ICND2 (Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 and Part 2) exam content into a single course. The routing and switching protocol knowledge reviewed from this certification will provide a long-lasting  foundation, even in a changing IT network environment.
